SMS Terms & Consent

This page explains how The Unveiled Planner ("we," "us," or "our") sends text messages (SMS) and how you provide consent to receive them. It applies to wedding guests, couples, and event collaborators who share a mobile phone number with us.
1. Our messaging program
The Unveiled Planner is a wedding-planning platform. When you take part in an event managed on our platform, we may send you SMS messages related to that event, including:
- Invitations & RSVPs — event invitations and a link to respond.
- Event itineraries & schedules — the day-of timeline and location details.
- Task & planning notifications — updates and reminders shared between a couple and their collaborators (for example, planners, vendors, or wedding-party members).
These are transactional messages tied to a specific event you are part of. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.
2. How we obtain your consent (opt-in)
We only text people who have knowingly provided their own mobile phone number and agreed to be contacted. Consent is collected directly from you in one of the following ways:
- Guests enter their own mobile number into our guest information form when they choose to share it. Providing your number on that form is your opt-in to receive event-related texts such as invitations and itineraries.
- Couples and collaborators add their own mobile number to their account profile to receive planning and task notifications for weddings they are working on.
Providing a phone number is always optional. If you do not provide a number, or you opt out later, you can still receive event communications by email instead.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on the event and your role in it. You may receive messages occasionally (for example, one invitation and one itinerary) or more often as an event approaches. We only message you when there is relevant event activity.
4. Message & data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Any charges come from your mobile carrier according to your plan; The Unveiled Planner does not charge you for text messages.
5. Opting out & getting help
To stop receiving text messages at any time, reply STOP to any message from us. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts, unless you opt back in.

After opting out, you can opt back in at any time by providing your phone number again on our guest information form or in your account profile.
6. Privacy
We treat your phone number as confidential and use it only to send the event-related messages described above. We do not sell your mobile information, and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Our messaging provider transmits messages on our behalf and processes them solely to deliver these texts.
